Club history

The Club is in Montpellier, France. It was birthed in 1976 and initially named Occi Kai. At this time, Occi Kai was operational within a judo club as the only table tennis club. In 1980, Occi Kai was changed to AS Midi Occi-Cres after merging with Cres Club.

Later, in 1990, the name was changed again to Le Cres-Montpellier TT, and in 1992, it was altered to Montpellier-Le CresTT(MCTT). Its current name, Montpellier Table Tennis Club, was given in 1994 when MCTT and the Table Tennis Club of Montpellier merged.

This merging followed the purchase of Salle Alain Achille, a room with 24 ping pong tables. In less than seven years, the men’s and women’s teams got as far as national competitions and never looked back.

Montpellier partnered with the Languedoc Roussillon League and opened a training center for the youth at the beginning of the school year in 2009.

That demonstrated how much importance the Club puts on youth training. The current president of this successful Club is Calvet Jean-Claude.

Located in Hirtshals, Denmark, the B75 International Table Tennis Club is a welcoming and successful club for all table tennis enthusiasts in this country. It greatly acknowledges and appreciates sincere effort regardless of the individual’s talent or level.
They started this European table tennis club in 1975.

One of the best table tennis clubs in Europe was initially located in the basement of Ulvkærskolen, which had a stone floor at that time.

Fortunately, lady luck smiled upon them, and in 2015, they made a center in a city with only 6000 occupants. It has since been conspicuous on the world map.

It provides a conducive and unique environment for training, ensuring that players’ needs are met without leaving any stone unturned. They created an environment, considering the idea of a folk high school, with provision for personal and professional development. This is one of the reasons why many nations choose Hirtshals.

For instance, in North Jutland, children are highly motivated to chase their passion and nurture their abilities to the highest possible level in table tennis. Most importantly, they are given a chance to do so.

One of the best table tennis clubs in Europe – Teams & Other Activities

The Club has both Danish players and foreign ones. There are professional teams for men and women. The men’s first team has occasionally won in the Danish Championship for the teams, bringing pride to its table tennis club.

Other Activities

B75 table tennis club has a motor table tennis play program for children. Generally, children come to play with explosive energy. Therefore in most cases, a lot of time is spent on running after the ball and picking it. This can cause frustration to the child, making them feel stuck.

Table tennis skills can be difficult for beginners. Thus, the motor games join the demanding motor moves that table tennis requires with the pleasure of playing. An advantage of motor table tennis is that it introduces children to the game when they are ripe for the motor.
